Welcome to the Sachem's Head Harbor Master's Blog.
Great to see these pictures of The Head, where my uncle -- Milton Bullard -- retained Benny Johsnon to teach me to sail in 1939. He was a marvelous young man and fine instructor. I've often wondered what happened to him.
Learning to sail in a Star was a great start that then equipped me sail my uncle's Manchester. I know these boat classes are long gone but will forever live on in this old man's memory. I believe John Kingsbury may stll be around. If so, say hello for me.
